Absolutely delicious! We snagged a reservation for 10:15 with no problem (were driving from about 40 minutes west). We were immediately impressed by the service and decor. It wasn’t too busy when we got there but certainly bustling. The food was some of the best breakfast we’ve had, pretty much ever and absolutely worth the price. Can’t recommend Skogen Kitchen enough!

One of the absolute meals I've ever had and I'm from the north east. The scallops were perfect! Desserts were a special treat.

Amazing breakfast. I had the spicy fried chicken maple pancakes. Heaven. Be sure to get there when they open, because they fill up fast.

TL:DR Very small establishment, reservations highly recommend, if not required. Closes from 12-5, so go early. We (party of 2) arrived at 11 and didn't know we should make reservations. They were too booked up to seat us, so we had to go to Black Hills Burger and Bun Co. (which was EXCELLENT).Disappointed because it had really good reviews, but the hostess was very apologetic. The place is very small, it might have had around 6 tables. I'm glad they are so busy, but might be time to expand some. They did have three seats at the "bar" but I guess they don't use them. Also, might consider staying open until 2 pm instead of 12?Since we weren't able to eat we still have them 4 stars (had to give some rating).

Our favorite place to go for fine dining and brunch. Chef Joseph is always creating more great things for us to savor! Their service cannot be beat. So many great choices for brunch...Japanese French Toast, Morning Walleye, Salmon, Crab cake, Eggs Benedict...and too many to list.
